Konstantin Ivanchin participated in the X annual conference “Antimonopoly Regulation in Russia”
The X annual conference “Antimonopoly Regulation in Russia” was held on 26 October 2018. Konstantin Ivanchin, a partner of Inmar Legal Ltd, member of Antimonopoly Experts’ Association, took part in the conference.
The conference is a key event in the sphere of antimonopoly regulation in Russia and CIS. Participants included the representatives of legislative, executive and judicial authorities, as well as lead lawyers, economists and representatives of corporations.
One of the most anticipated events of the conference was a speech by Igor Artemev, Head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of Russia, who spoke of the National Competition Development Plan as a key tool for increasing the economic development, role of the fifth antimonopoly package within the development of the digital economy, as well as new initiatives in the field of public procurement regulation. The issues of activities of the Antimonopoly Service to ensure the efficient operation of commodity markets, prevention, restriction and suppression of monopolistic activity and unfair competition were touched upon.
Participants of the conference at seven sessions devoted to public and corporate procurements, regulation the sphere of retail, digitalization of economy and tariff regulation could discuss critical problems of law enforcement practice, as well as the basic events taken place in 2018 in the sphere of antimonopoly regulation that had a material impact on competition.
